OpenSIPS 1.6.1 Released

OpenSIPSOpenSIPS 1.6.1 was released just in time for the holiday season.

This is first minor release of the OpenSIPS 1.6 branch. It contains bug fixes and some performance improvements. All functionality related to scripting and system interfacing remains unchanged. Bogdan-Andrei Iancu, the lead developer behind the OpenSIPS project, noted that OpenSIPS 1.6.1 contains important performance enhancements related to memory and registration support. This point release also addresses important improvements to OpenSIPS stability.

OpenSIPS 1.6.1 is now available for download on the OpenSIPS project's web site.

If you have an Advantia Support Agreement and currently running earlier versions of OpenSIPS, you are encouraged to contact support to schedule for this upgrade to be applied to your system. Advantia customers on the hosted plan have had their systems upgraded already.
